Continuing Education in Women's Health

Women’s Health Foundations

2-Day Professional Development Training for Health Practitioners

Women’s health concerns rarely exist in isolation. Hormonal changes, nutrition, mental health, sleep, stress and lifestyle can overlap and influence how clients present in practice.

This two-day interdisciplinary training is designed to give health practitioners a stronger understanding of these connections and greater confidence when supporting women throughout different stages of life.

Through evidence-informed education, practical examples and case-based learning, you will develop knowledge that can be applied to your existing practice while gaining a clearer understanding of when collaboration or referral to another health professional may be beneficial.

This training is designed for health practitioners who support women across different stages of life and want a stronger understanding of how hormones, nutrition, mental health, sleep, stress, and lifestyle can interact. It may be especially valuable for counsellors, social workers, dietitians, nurses, nurse practitioners, midwives, psychologists, and other allied health professionals who want to strengthen their assessment, communication, referral, and interdisciplinary care skills.
